Rachel's Scholarship

The Rachel Heffner Memorial Endowment Scholarship was created to benefit female students at the University of West Florida (UWF) who are in need and in good academic standing.

Rachel Heffner was a UWF student living with cystic fibrosis. She died in her third year of college before she was able to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. Through this scholarship, Rachel's legacy will live forever in support of other future nurses.

How to Make a Gift to the Scholarship Fund:

Checks should be made payable to the UWF Foundation, Inc. with "Rachel Heffner Scholarship" listed on the memo line. See mailing address here. Or you may donate online to the UWF Foundation, specifying "Rachel Heffner Scholarship" in the "Special Instructions/Other Designation" field.
